Not sure what to say?

I will miss my Auntie Joan. She was the most amazing person - and hysterically funny. Wow - that woman could bring a smile to my face and so many others. I think the first time I met her, she litterally took my breath away. I'll never forget her swinging into my office with a "HI YA Papaya!"

Love to all...My thoughts are with Sean, Patty and family.

We send our deepest sympathy to Joan's family. We appreciate the important contribution she made to the success of CHS. She was often rewarded with enthusiastic hugs from the children for "Miss Joan." We will all miss her.

Joan was truly a special and kind person in every way. She made us laugh even during the most trying times. Her strength and determination will always be remembered and be admired by all of us.

Laura Cinquemani-Rojahn, Joan's Office Mate at CHS

Sean, BethAnn,and the rest of the Connolly family,
My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this time. I am sorry that I was not at the Residence for Joans final journey. What beautiful lessons she taught all of us about life. The gifts she left with us will be cherished. Thank you for sharing her life with all of us. We have been truly blessed. Gods grace to you.

My deepest sympathy to the family. Joan will always be missed here at CHS. Through her adversity, she always had a smile and showed the love that was in her heart for this agency and the children here at CHS.

Joan will be sorely missed by her family and her CHS family. She was our glue. Her strong and compassionate spirit will live on with us. Her friends and family are blessed to have had Joan as a part of our lives.

Auntie Joan - You will be missed by all of your dear friends in Jacksonville. You were a one of a kind lady and a one of a kind friend. Anyone that knew you was changed by your loving, caring nature. Many children have alot to be thankful for because of you. Children's Home Society was blessed to have had you as an employee. We love you and miss you.

I will miss my "mama Joan". She always called me her second son and I was proud of that. This dear woman will be missed more than she ever knew. We love you Joanie.
