Rest In Peace Joan.

joan's mother and my father were brother and sister - when we were young we kept in contact but when i moved out of state, we "lost" each other - through some strange circumstances, we got in touch after almost 50 years and did spend some time together. i tried to contact her several times recently and finally checked the internet. how sad to find that she had passed although i knew she had some problems. i am grateful that we found each other again and very saddened that she has passed. my...

to the entire family... so saddened to hear of joan's passing. i enjoyed talking to joan every chance i got at Trinity. it wasn't often because i attend the early service and joan was a choir member at the late service. such a dear person. i might add our conversations were mostly about her children... i knew jody many years ago... she LOVES her children very much. i will miss her. i was unable to attend the service because my Father's funeral service was the same time at St.James Lutheran...

To the children, Jill, Jody, John, Julie, and the rest of the Conrad family.

Larry & Kackie Barnhart

Mrs. Colestock, I am very sad to read the loss of your Mother. May you cherish your life memories with her forever.

Betty Norford & son Steve Norford would like to extend our heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the Conrad family on your loss. Betty and Joan were close friends for a very long time. They were just together a few weeks ago at a Duthmaid reunion luncheon and Betty would visit her often at the Woods. Betty is sorry that she could not attend the service on Saturday as she had another commitment. We wish the Conrad family all the best moving forward.

To the Conrad Family - so sorry for your loss.
Your Mom was a tremendous light to everyone she touched. It did not matter how young or old you were - you were "one of hers" to check on daily or weekly. In my case we were longtime church buddies and if my memory serves me correctly back when I was younger, she taught the "kids" in church how to be an acolyte, crucifer, this is were our friendship started and I was taken under her wing. On Sunday morings we would catch up on each others...
