Read MoreI only met Joan a few times during my life time and she seemed always to be a gentle loving person. I do know her daughter well however, and if children are a testament to their parents, with Susan as her daughter, I can say without question that Joan was a kind, generous and remarkable woman. I wish Joan all the comfort and joy in the hereafter.

Susan and family, Sorry to hear about your mom- I fondly remember her and you when we met years ago when I took care of your dad at MMC. Aunt Joan was a major part of my life in my younger years. I will always remember her strength and good humor and the wonderful Christmases we had at her house when Susan was small. I also never knew her middle name was Marjorie!!! Amazing!
