Dear Patty,

I am truly sorry for your loss. I only came to know about your mother recently and am deeply saddened by her passing. I hope that you and your family will find peace that she is in a better place and is free of the pain that she suffered through. God bless you and your family.

Your friend,

To my family,
My Great Aunt Joan was a wonderful person and I am so happy that I was able to meet her when my family went out to Massachusetts. She was there when my family got out of the airport and she helped us get to the bus that would take us to our vacation home on Cape Cod. A few days later she met us in town and took us to my cousins house and brought over a pot of spaghetti and it was delicious. Near the end of our trip she took us to the aquarium and it was an extremely fun...

To Our Family,
We are deeply saddened by Aunt Joans passing. May we all be comforted by her memory, her love for life and family, and her never ending sense of humor. She was always there whenever one of us needed her and her comfort. I have so many fond memories of her, her laugh that I will cherish forever. I truly admire this wonderful lady, she never complained about this disease. She felt Gods love and presence surrounding her each and everyday.
What a comfort that has been to us...

To the Curran & Irwin family,
I was saddened to read of Joan's passing. Miss Irwin, as I knew her,was my 5th and 6th grade teacher at Columbus Elementary School in Medford. She was a wonderful teacher and I knew she would be a wonderful mother. Miss Irwin, I'm a better person to have been a brief part of your life.

To the Curran and Irwin families
My sincere condolence to you all. The world has lost a great lady, I have many wonderful memories of your mother and sister at St. Joseph's. She had a great sense of humor and a kindness for all. Prayers and love Kitty Carew Macri
