Daugherty, Joan F. Age 74 of Brooklyn Park. Survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Gerald; sons and daughters-in-law, Dave (Shari) Daugherty, and Mark (Carla) Daugherty; daughters and sons-in-law, Diane (Tom) Russell, Jane (John) Schultz; sister, May Bertz; 9 grandchildren, Ryan, Katie, John, Matt, Tara, Ross, Gina, Ellie, Ana; also many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Mass of Christian Burial Friday 11 AM with visitation 1 hour prior at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, 7025 Halifax Ave N, Brooklyn Center. If so desired memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society or the St. Alphonsus Catholic Church. The family wishes to give special thanks to the Allina Hospice for their loving care. I was saddened to read of Joan's passing. It seems like only yesterday when we were playing in your back yard and she would bring us something to drink and Mr. D would come out and "give us the business!!!" ;)
