Joan was the most open, caring, honest and sincere person I have ever met. I wish I had not lost contact with her, I just came across her obituary today. Joan truly was a light in a dark world. I have a afghan blanket she made for me, that I will always treasure.

Aunt Joan, I miss you so much already!! You have always been with us on holidays....its going to be hard to not see you sitting in your favorite spot on the sofa. Aunt Joan always had a smile, pretty much all the time! She was nice to everyone she met. She would give you anything she had, if you needed it. Russ and I miss you very much!!! Love you very, very much!!! Linda misses and Loves you, too!!

Loan. You have been a big part of my life. I miss you so much. One of the most giving, warm, andfriendy. Any one she met were her friends. She would smile and hug them. If you needed something she would give it to you. She brighten a lot of people she met along the way. Always love you and miss you.
