Joan was a dedicated friend, relentless champion for those she cared about and a wonderful child-like spirit. I will miss our talks about life, time at her beautiful home and our girls' outings each summer. Joan, you will remain in our heart always.

Joan clearly had that "giving spirit." Her involvment in Lombard development issues, especially Rt. 53, showed that she had the people's interest at heart.

We are constituents in Joan's Lombard district. Her enthusiasm for getting projects moving was contagious. I still picture her walking down the street, going door-to-door in her winter hat meeting the people of the neighborhood when she was running for trustee. Her contributions to Lombard will always be remembered and revered with the resurrection of the DuPage Theatre. Thank you, Joan, for your dedication to your community!

Joan's efforts on behalf of citizens working to get better response from government, and better highways that respect our quality of life were deeply appreciated. Sincere sympathies to the entire family.
