Dear Tom and Family, My condolences for the lost of your mother. I never had a chance to meet her but the evidence of her beauty, grace, and character is expressed through her children. I lost my mother on Christmas Eve and found out about your lost as I was dealing with my own. As sad and empty as the holiday season is without them...what an impact of what Christmas truly means knowing both of our mothers spent them with Christ this year. Much love and prayers to your family from ours.

Dear Vin and Family, Joan was such an up-beat and beautiful person. We will miss seeing her happy face. We send you all our sympathy for your loss. Fondly, Ruth and Fred Miller Sylvania, Ohio and Vero Beach Florida

Seeing Joan's name in the paper reminded me of an incident almost exactly 40 years ago. I had had my third child with the Rh problem and he needed a blood transfusion. Joan came to Mercy hospital to donate directly for him. Since I worked at Mercy, I was able to find out the name of the donor to send a thank you card. As it turned out, Joan had lived next door to my in-laws when she was younger, on Mayfield Drive, and babysat for my husband.
From reading and hearing what a wonderful...

Aunt Joan was such an amazing and wonderful woman. I feel so fortunate to have been able to spend precious time with her last month. My heart goes out to Uncle Vin, Tom and Paul...

We are so very sorry for your loss. We truly know what it's like to lose a parent. God Bless
