Not sure what to say?

I never knew a more delightful person, very sincere & helpful, a fine family begun by Mr Di, Frank.

Thank you for your guidance, leadership, courage and generosity. You leave us better than we were.

Dear Tommy, Dan, Joe and families, I didn´t learn of your Mom´s death until the afternoon of the 13th. I was dismayed that none of my colleagues had let me know of the arrangements. Be assured that I would have been there to give you all hugs. I loved both Joan and Frank and admired them for their devotion to one another and all of you. They set such marvelous examples of what family and community should be. My thoughts and prayers are with you all as you adjust to having a Mom in heaven. ...

Dr Di please accept my great condolences to you and your family. Our loved ones live on through us. God bless her soul. Debbie Jones Madison Irving surgery center

Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always. I’m such a short time you were a pleasure to meet. Love always, Ashley Singleton

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived. I worked with Joan on the Saturday morning talk at Towne Center. She was such a lovely lady I will miss her. May she rest in peace.

My condolences to Joe and Susie who carry on Mrs Di´s commitment to community. Joe Grasso

Joan was my mentor in inspiring children & Elderhostelers, graciously accepting defeat & teaching me to "take baby steps" (not only professionally but personally). She helped shape me into the...

I was privileged to meet Joan at Chittenango Landing Canal Boat Museum and I am grateful for the joy, passion, and spirit she shared with me and all those who met her. Joan was one of those rare people who made you feel not just welcome, but special. Smart, thoughtful, strategic, caring, and determined, Joan always seemed to give her all. The Erie Canalway National Heritage Corridor is a better place because of Joan´s work. May her memory continue to inspire us to carry that same energy and...
