Today Joan's. Mom and five friends met to remember how sweet she was to each one of use , You are missed my friend.

Cookie was my first love back in 1962. She was so special that she has a special place in my heart to this day. I wanted to visit her this summer. I am so very very sad and my condolences go out to her mom and sister Carol.

My aunt was one who had so many different people in her life; from the rich to the poor, the most serious to the silliest, the prettiest to the oooogly. Aunt Cookie shared her humor, compassion, joy of family, spirit for seizing the day, amazing cooking, rooting for the underdog and her unconditional love with all of us. Those who were so fortunate to be one of the chosen are all so much better for it.

Cookie was always one of my favorite people. Ed and her would ask us up to the house in Allentown Ed would go golfing and Cookie would ask me to work on her 1967 Red Firebird. She's loved that car. That car was Cookie ! Her free Spirit letting loose every time she hit the GAS ! Cookie was a very understanding sister in law. She always was the one that was there to help you feel better,and to make things go easier. She will be missed by all that New this Great Lady. Herb Hisler.
