(Eula- ween) Barney; dearest daughter in law of Celia Diver and Thomas Diver; dearest sister of Diane (Bob) Humphreys, Linda Tanner, Marilyn Odeh, Charlie (Pat) Barney, Bob (Barbara) Barney and Wes (Penny) Barney; also survived by nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call Thursday from Noon to 2 PM and 5-8 PM at the URBAN BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, INC., 6685 Transit Rd., East Amherst (just south of County & N. French Rd.) and a church service at Zion Lutheran Church, 9535 Clarence Center Rd. Friday at 11 AM (Please assemble at church). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Girl Scouts or Boy Scouts of America in memory of Joan Diver or the Joan Diver's Fund, c/o The Bank of Akron.

There is not a more tragic thought than knowing someone who was such a beautiful, caring, and loving person, mother and wife has been taken from those who loved here dearly. I never had the opportunity to know you Joan, but I know the person you were to others. I pray that you are somewhere beautiful and safe from life's miseries.
