Not sure what to say?

Joan was my Aunt, and my father's only sibling. She was always kind, supportive and never judgmental to me. I have a lifetime of only good and fun memories of her. When Lisa and I were younger, our families traveled between NJ and PA to visit. I have especially fond memories of Thanksgiving time, as that was the holiday that Joan and Buddy, my Dad, chose to spend together. I LOVED going there! As I grew older, Aunt Joan and I never lost contact with each other, even as I moved...

My deepest condolences to Joan's family. She was a good friend and a true lady. We met at PSP Headquarters, where we both worked. She, her husband Frank and I enjoyed a cherished friendship filled with laughter and respect. Wishing her peace.

Thank you everyone for your thoughts. Please encourage others to add comments as well. I will check back here periodically.

I worked with Joan at the PSP and she was the kind of person you loved running into. She helped me many times, as she was quite experienced in her job in the Fiscal Division. We shared many laughs and good conversation. God bless Joan's family on such a great loss.

So sad, she was such a nice person, she did a lot for my brother and I. She will be missed. Sending prayers to Kevin and Lisa. We used to have some good times together. love you guys. ❤ Jackie Figueroa

So sorry to hear of Joan's passing. She was a great co-worker. Joan took me under her wing when I came to Headquarters and taught me the ways of the State Police. I have many great memories of our days together.

You will be dearly missed and always be remembered ❤

Dear Joan, I met you after you moved to Pacifica to live with Lisa. You were one of the most fun loving and youthful old people I ever met, and I can only hope to have your energy, drive and tenacity to stay here, with us. May your memory inspire many!
