Mrs. Druckman was one of the most influential people in my life. Not only did she show me that I was capable of doing math, I learned to appreciate it. And when I was a rookie sixth grade teacher, I immediately called her and she mentored me throughout that formative first year. Fortunately, my principal and I realized that I´d serve better as a language arts teacher but her kindness and instruction showed me how a teacher can make the world a better place.
