Joan was a wonderful sister and friend and is already missed a lot.
She had a real flair for writing and had won some special prizes for her work. We encouraged her to write more but all she ever wanted to write were excuses for her boys when they skipped school. Family was always first for as long as I can remember....then after marrying Paul, husband and sons and grandchildren.
