Joan C Dunmead

Joan C. Dunmead of St. Augustine, FL, formerly of Toledo, OH passed away January 21, 2021. She was born in West Unity, Ohio to Martin and Cecil Sorensen. She married William R. Dunmead, Sr. on September 7, 1947.

Prior to her retirement, she was employed with the City of Toledo in the Forestry Division.

Joan was an excellent knitter, knitting for the St. Vincent Hospital Auxiliary Guild. She also enjoyed card playing and loved being with her grandchildren.

Her parents, husband, son, James and grandson Bradley all preceded her in death.

Surviving are her children, William (Peggy) Dunmead, Jr., David (Susan) Dunmead and Cathy (Jim) Underwood; 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Private family funeral services were held at Foth-Dorfmeyer Mortuary followed by burial at Toledo Memorial Park.
