My condolences for the loss of Joan. I lived in her neighborhood for a period of time and always enjoyed walking by and chatting with her about her gardens and the different flowers. She inspired me to have gardens of my own. Peaceful healing toyou all.

Just this week I drove up Crescent Street to see my grandparents' house, as I always do when I am in the area. And, as always, I admired your mother's beautiful flower gardens. 91 is quite an achievement! for sure.

I was so sorry to read of your mothers passing.She was a wonderful person. I enjoyed talking to your father and mother when I visited my aunt and uncle who lived accross the street. They were so good to both of them.I will remember both your mom and dad,they were great people.

I grew up on Grand Ave (Eileen McCaffrey) and as kids we used to hike down the hill to "Indian Village" - this beautiful spot near the river that abutted your property and was probably your backyard! We would walk out to the street along the side of the house and I remember the gorgeous garden, flowers and plants that were around the house. Such a lovely memory. My condolences on the loss of your Mom.
