Joan A. Fisher HAMILTON TOWNSHIP Joan A. Fisher, 80, of Hamilton Township died Wednesday, June 10, 2015, at RWJ University Hospital at Hamilton. Joan was born in Philadelphia, PA, but resided most of her life in Hamilton Township. She had retired from the NJ Department of Corrections as a telephone operator with over 10 years of service. Joan loved traveling to Atlantic City, playing bingo, and savoring a big bowl of ice cream. The wife of late Robert J. Fisher, she is survived by a daughter, Kathleen Fisher of Allentown; a sister and brother-in-law, Cathy and Howard LeJambre of Groveville; her niece and god-daughter, Michele Kano; two great-nieces, Kayla and Erechia Kano; a nephew, Shane Kano, and a great-great-niece, Mary Catherine Olavarrio. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Monday, June 15, 2015, at 11 a.m. from St. Vincent de Paul R.C. Church, 555 Yardville-Allentown Road, Yardville, with Rev. Stanley Krzyston, Pastor officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, Memphis, TN. Arrangements are under the direction of the Peppler Funeral Home of Bordentown.
