Not sure what to say?

I met Joan when she and my husband were in chemotherapy treatment in Fairfield in 2001. She was the bright light of our day. She and Larry shared so much laughter together and relied on each other for support. After Larry's passing in 2003 Joan stayed in contact with me through notes and concern. Geri,

So sorry for the loss of your dear Aunt Joan. I know she was your Rock and you will miss her dearly. It will be very difficult but you know she wouldn't want you to grieve as she is in a better place and is no longer suffering. Cherish the many memories of her and they will sustain you in the days, months and years ahead. It is difficult to lose someone who has been so close and dear to you but keep the faith and God will see you through.

My prayers to the family.Ed.Patterson Condos.

My deepest sympathy to Joan's family. She loved you dearly and was loved by you in the same endearing way! Yes, Joan lived life to its fullest and was always an upbeat person regardless of what life sent her way. There is a new bright star in the sky...left there by Joan as she makes her way to Heaven. In time, conversations will bring back many happy memories to share about Joan and I imagine a few laughs also. May Peace fill your hearts during this very difficult time. With sympathy,

Sorry for your loss. May you find peace and hope by trusting in God. Romans 15:13.
