Not sure what to say?

My dear friend Leslie and family,
You mom holds a very special place in my heart. Since I started working for your family in 1967, I have the most cherished memories. Joan was the best cook in the Poconos and I still see all those pies sitting on the counter when I would come to work early in the morning. I lived with you in the summer and she treated me like family. She always had a smile standing over the big stove. She put up with all our jokes and our song "the Antler girls". My...

Leslie and family,
I'm so sorry to hear of your mom's passing...I used to live at the Farm on the Hill just down the road from the Antler's...I remember your family well and the good times we shared. Your mother was a beautiful and very Loved woman...I know she'll be deeply missed and your memories of her will be treasured ones.

God Bless,

Dear Leslie and all the family, my heartfelt Sympathy to all of you. When we had the Farm on the hill we spent a lot of time together, and had so much fun. She was the most wonderful person to know, and I will never forget her smiling face.
My thoughts and prayers go out to each and everyone of you.God Bless.

Leslie,
I am so very sorry to learn of your loss. Your Mother was joy to know and work for. I have always admired her ability to do so many things so well, and always with the appearance of effortless grace and dignity. Joan made Antlers Lodge a very special and happy place, and I have nothing but fond memories of the years I worked and sometimes lived there. I hope that in this time of sadness you and your family can also reflect on the happiness she brought to all who knew her....

To all the Toms and Foster Family:
I was a classmate and neighbor of
Joan in Mt Pocono. Only the best
memories, and was so sad to hear
she was ill recently. Our prayers
are with all family and friends at
this sorrowful hour.

To Hal, to Leslie & Pete, John & Kim, and to all Joan's family, we offer heartfelt sympathy, and share your sorrow in saying good bye to such a remarkable woman. The separation is temporary, but the pain it brings right now runs deep.
We remember the times we shared in Joan's laughter and exuberance, at CPI gatherings. Her warmth, grace, and smile would put you at ease in a moment. She was always on the go, busy, joyfully, with friends and activities she enjoyed, and devoted to helping...
