Joan Frisch

Joan was a great lady. Her enthusiasm for storytelling continues to charm me. I have read her book many times over and it I stirs in me a temptation to be mischievous and adventurous. I was very blessed to meet both Joan and Jon in Greece. They made the trip truly memorable with so many more stories to tell. Like the time Joan climbed th 300 (and a half) steps to the monasteries in Meteora, and the race we ran in Olympus, and the .....

Every time I was near Joan she had a smile and a loving way about her. She is someone I truly looked forward to seeing at various Headley family gatherings. I'm so glad she and Jonathan were at Pacific Grove last fall. A bright light is now in a bigger place. I'll miss you, Joan.
