Not sure what to say?

Gateleys were the best of neighbors for over 50 years. In times of sadness they delivered a bounty of turkey and fixings to ease the pain. In times of celebration a St Patrics Irish flag we got from Phil & we still fly today. Joan was instrumental in starting a book club at the library in both Ashaway & Westerly. Community oriented, both. The town will miss them both.

I have so many memories of Joan at the Ashaway Library! I brought my sons there often, the oldest volunteered there in his early teens. Joan was warm, friendly, and a great wealth of information on books!!! Condolences to her family. Susan Rosen
