Not sure what to say?

I would have loved to have her as a mentor. Rest well as your legacy lives on.

Dear Gifford Family,
Steve and I were so saddened to learn of Joan's death when we entered the office at Plantation Village this past week. We are grateful for the time we spent with Joan, Chuck, Francine and Tim on our last visit in February. My parents, Jack and Helen Miskel, now deceased as well loved spending time with Joan and Chuck and The Gang...they treasured their friendship and I know they are both welcoming her with open arms. She was a brave woman who taught us all how to...

We were so sorry to hear of Joan's passing. My husband and I knew Chuck and Joan from our visits to the Caymans with my Mom and Dad, Jack and Helen Miskel. My parents pictures from the Caymans are full of sunset shots with "the gang" waiting for the "green flash". Great memories of great times! Our prayers are with you, Chuck and your family.

With our deepest
sympathy,
Eileen and Ken

The Caymans will never the be the same!! We loved every opportunity to spend time with Joan and hear all about the family and her life. Chuck and Joan were a big part our Cayman memories. I know Joan is with Helen and Jack and waiting for the green flash!!

Dear Chuck and family,
I am so saddened to hear of Joan's passing. She and my mother (Mary Teck, of blessed memory) were longtime professional associates and friends. Perhaps they're both in Heaven re-hashing their many sales and fun times together.

My sincere condolences to you and Joan's entire family at this time. May her memory always be for a blessing.

Joan bestowed many gifts that touched a multitude of lives in her 85 years. She had a grace, spirit and professionalism that many should emulate. The Navy League was fortunate to have the Giffords as long standing members and she will be missed. Our prayers go out to Chuck and their children in this difficult time.

Mrs. Gifford is always in my heart as the lady with the most inspiration, the most drive, and the greatest heart. (And more shoes than me!)Her kindness and care for my family and me will always be beyond my hope and imagination.

Dear Mr. Gifford, Tim,Diana and Gifford Family:

We are deeply saddened to learn of your immense loss. Joan possessed such vitality and enthusiasm for life, family, and community. She has enriched those of us who are fortunate to have known her. May all the wonderful memories of her bring you comfort and enrich you in the days and years to come.
Fondly, Barbara and Dave Crockett
