Not sure what to say?

Deeply sorry to hear of Joan's passing. Hope the wonderful memories you have are a continuing comfort.

We remember a trip you and Joan took to the Netherlands where you rented a sailboat and promptly ran it into a bridge. Letting nothing stop you, you went back and rented another sailboat. We've always admired that spirit. Our prayers and thoughts are with you.

To the friends and family of Joan, please accept our deepest sympathy. She is a great part of our Green Turtle Family. She will be truly missed.

Our hearts have been heavy since hearing of Joan's passing. We can hardly imagine being here in Green Turtle Cay without seeing her, having ethical discussions, sharing our love of simple things in life, viewing the sea and sky with an artistic eye. GTC is like a second home and Joan has been a part of an extended family here. A mentor and good friend. We will miss her so very dearly. Our love to David, their sons and family. We hope to surround David with our love and share carrying his...

My thoughts and prayers are with Joan's family & friends. She was a lovely woman and an amazing academic advisor for Purdue University's Computer Technology Department. She provided a great deal of understanding, support, encouragement, and a friendship to me as an adult student trying to fit in with the younger students. Joan sponsored Alpha Lambda Kappa, a sorority for Women in Computer Technology and she will be remembered forever!

David, My thoughts and prayer are with you and your sons at your loss of such a special, special lady. I will not be in IN for the service but will take your spirits with me to Israel when I leave on the 7th. Much love, Deborah

I met Joan through LWV back in 1972-- she was a wonderful person and leader in the community. Although we lost touch in recent years, I always remembered fondly using the ditto machine in her basement to reproduce the LWV newsletters. Such a thoughtful person will be missed by her family and community.

My condolences to David and family...I met Joan so many times at the International Center...she was a great supporter of the IC. She and David helped me contact an Irishman who was here temporarily and needed work...I paid him and he did a tremendous job clearing weeds and fallen limbs from my yard...at the time, their advice was very helpful. May she rest in peace.

Joan, I will miss seeing your bright smile and wonderful artwork at the Wells Building. I know you'll be watching over us to make sure the world is as beautiful as you captured it.
