Missing my friend Joan as I have said previously. Joan gave me a beautiful pin the last time I visited her in her apartment #123 and I keep it on my dresser so every morning she greets me with her wonderful personality and thoughtful gestures. Joan has been in my life since the days of Harley Hotel. She has been a confidant that can never be replaced. If you had not seen her in a while, it was still like yesterday. Always there for you. Joan Ruth Dunfee Hart was the consummate friend, hostess, and lady. She befriended me while she was volunteering at Foote Memorial Hospital in Jackson, where I was Director of Volunteers.
