Joan was my friend. She had a great sense of humor and was always the liveliest in the group. She had a great laugh and was always so positive, I don´t think I ever saw her depressed, if you were she would lift you right out of it. She was passionate about her family and her faith and anything else she believed in, no half measures. When you played a game with her it was a social event but she kept you to the rules and if you told a story that she had heard before and didn´t tell it exactly...

Joan was an amazing woman. Quick to laugh. She was always the most stylish, too! She was kind to me always. I will always remember her fabulous meat pies that she would make for us - the girls loved them! She always made a point to find the cutest little restaurants to take her daughter in law´s to and loved shopping expeditions where she spoiled them. She will be missed by all who had the good fortune to know her.
