Not sure what to say?

Joan was my first softball coach during my CYO days at St. Philip Neri. Then I had the pleasure of coaching her daughter, Paula, in softball at Portland State University. Years later, every time I would see Joan in Safeway or Fred Meyer, she would always ask me if Paula was still in the PSU Softball record books (which she is). She was always one of the most positive people I've know with such a beautiful smile and personality. To all of her family, I'm sorry and know how much she's...

My condolences to the family and friends of Joan Henkel, whose dedication and positive energy I appreciated when I worked as a pharmacist at Providence Hospital in Portland. , Her daughters, whom I taught at St. Mary's Academy, reflected her remarkable, engaging spirit!

I remember her and her smile always approachable and easy to work with.

My condolences to Joan’s family. I had the pleasure of working with your Mom at Providence for almost 20 years. Her smile, compassion, and insight into complex issues were her definite virtues. She displayed true interest in patients and staff. I’m sure she is laughing and playing cards in heaven! Prayers and hugs to the family. Paula you definitely take after your Mom and I truly enjoyed working with you also at Providence!

My time at PROVIDENCE MEDICAL CENTER Portland... I got to meet a lot of great people, I always enjoyed our talks...RIP JOAN
