I had the great privilege to be the first to hear Joan's testimony of faith after she took Jesus as her Savior. That was at funeral officiated by Pastor Miesel of Racine Bible Church, who at the service clearly presented the gospel message, that all have sinned and fallen short; that all are in need of a Savior.
