So sorry to hear of cousin Joanie passing. My mom Rita spoke of her often. They lost contact a few years ago when my mom got sick. I'm sorry they never were able to reconnect before my mom passed in 2022. Sending you all our love and condolences during this difficult time.

I've been throughout all my years been so fortunate to have Joannie as my big sister. She has always been there for me -- to probably help me walk, teach me how to talk, take me for rides in our wagon, watch over me when I was driving the first car I ever could drive. I have a photo of her standing by while I pushed the pedals to the sidewalk. She was also there to take me outside to play in the snow...she helped me manage to walk with the what looked like a mighty heavy snowsuit. I know...
