Joan and I taught for many years at Snyder High School in Jersey City. The teachers then were very friendly and liked to do things together, especially skits and singing for the students assemblies. She was one of the organizers.
She and Barbara Chamberjian were the lights of the science department;s biology classes.
Joan was a shining example of a Christian-kind, loving, honest and brave.
She will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
