Not sure what to say?

As a young girl I had the opportunity to spend a week at the lake with Aunt Joan, Uncle Joff and all the kids. I was there to help out. It was one of those experiences where you receive far more than you give. All these years later it makes great sense that her family is so warm, thoughtful, kind and loving. She was a remarkable matriarch, each of you is a testament to that. She will be greatly missed by all.

Aunt Joan enjoyed hearing about my family in my annual Christmas letter. I wish we could have spent more time together. I was lucky to have her in my life. She is my role model, and I will miss her very much.

Joan was my mother-in-law in name but in reality she was more than that..she was one of my best friends. She was there for me whenever I needed her giving me support and assurance and most of all love. I will miss her immensely and will continue to hear her voice when I would call her, "Oh Hi Jeanne!" I will keep her spirit alive by appreciating the small things in life more and to give to other as she did. She was so special.

Diane, I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your mother. I work in our local school district in Kenosha, Wisconsin and I come in contact with women, like your mother, who continue to give their time to the students, even after retirement. It is a service that is much needed. I hope you find comfort in the memories and condolences that many are expressing.

Sincerely, Michelle (Butman) Holdorf

Diane and Cliff-

Our sincerest sympathies to you and your family on your loss. You are amazing people and your mother was so blessed to have such devoted and loving people like yourselves as children. All our best.

To the Hyde Family,
I was so sorry to hear about the loss of your mother. Your mom's hospitality and kindness was always in evidence even with a houseful of children, many of whom considered themselves extended family. I will always remember the times we all shared while living on Santa Barbara. Greg, Damien, Denis, Diane and Daria take comfort in the knowledge that your mother was well loved by all who knew her. I will keep you all in my prayers.

With Deepest Sympathy,

Diane, my prayer are with you and your family. may you be blessed with precious memories of your love one.
