Not sure what to say?

5 August 2025 A very nice description of an active life all based on the enjoyment of ice cream . Ice cream made with cream from Orange County New York. Obviously she added her full measure to the community both in Warwick, Bew York and outside.

She was my godmother and a truly vivacious and generous woman. I am lucky to have had her in my life. Alexandra (Danda) Stein

Aunt Joan was a childhood friend of my father, Larned Fowler, and a lifelong friend of my mother Emma. Our families shared many memorable spring ski vacations to Canada and Vermont, and visited Warwick and McLean often. Aunt Joan was always the epitome of gracious hospitality, genuine concern for others, and blessed with a wonderful sense of humor. She truly belonged to a bygone era of grace, gentility and class. May she rest in peace.

Single Memorial Tree

My deepest condolences to Joan´s extended family especially Lucy and Garrett, and also granddaughter Rachel. I was glad to see on Rachel´s recent FB post that many of the family had such a joyous time together in Maine this summer. I´ll be thinking of you all in early October as you gather to celebrate Joan´s long life so well lived. Peace be with you.

Aunt Joan was the true essence of grace and pose. She was the light in a room. The room I was lucky to be in with her. A lady I will miss with all my heart.

So many happy memories of Aunt Joan's, especially in Warwick, McLean, and Maine.
