Not sure what to say?

I am dreaming about Joanie. She looks good and peaceful. I miss her so much.

Thank you Will Jean and Alice and Hank Isaacson. Will, she saved cards you made in a treasured place, and I have them now.

Joanie treated each art work in her collection as if it were priceless!

Joanne is missed by us and we are sure others who knew her. She left us too soon!

Thanks to each of you for reaching out so beautifully. The love and support has really embraced David and me as we begin this journey. My aunt, Charlotte Skall Blank, has set up the scholarship. There are two ways to give: online at givebutter.com/joaniekaufman - you'll find beautiful photos of Joanie there, links to columns about her and a link to a video of her at the piano that might bring chuckles. Check out the web page (regardless of whether you can give). If you'd prefer to send in a...

Mrs. Joan Kaufman was dear to me. She was there for me when I needed to talk. She even supported my goal to grow my business. She was very giving and caring. I was worried when I couldn't contact her and I was reading the Plain Dealer and found she is now asleep with God. I feel so much for you as her family. You mean more to me than you know. Feel free to respond to me at my email. Love you always! Veronica

I met Joanie through Jim, and she was an absolute joy! I loved watching the two play duets on the piano and drums. She truly brought a spark of joy with her delightful humor and love for all things artistic. My thoughts are with you all as you grieve her loss.

Dear friends, Many thanks for your kind reminiscences and observations about my mother. I'm deeply touched. I want to let you know that there will be a scholarship in Joanie's name established for a piano student at the Music Settlement. Stay tuned!

Joanie was such a beautiful person and so generous in so many ways. I miss getting phone calls from Joanie out of the blue just to say hi and getting together for lunches. She and my young son were best buds, and she always made our day. We miss you Joanie!
