Joan had so much wisdom and optimism. She loved to quote St Julian of Norwich's words: "All Shall Be Well". Joan had so many gifts; she was caring and loving, incredibly present to the person she was talking to and making that person feel like she was the most important person in the world. So much generosity, humility and authenticity. Joan, you were all I could have hoped for in a friend. I miss you but I know you are watching over your family and friends from heaven where all your tears...

Joan was such a gentile, caring and loving person, with a special brightness and charm that we all were blessed to experience. She will be so missed within our neighborhood, community and our parish. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you, Tom , Theresa, Brian, Aiden and all her family. God Bless

Dear Tom, Teresa, Brian, and Aidan,
Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this very difficult time. Joan was an incredible person and a great teacher. We taught together at The Grammar School and I had the pleasure of having Brian and Aidan as students. Sports brought our boys together over the years and Joan always had a wonderful smile every time I saw her. Draw on strength from her and the memories that fill your hearts.
