Not sure what to say?

See that this is going to be discontinued on line. Lee I just wanted you to know I thought so much of Perky... your daughters are grown now and may the Lord grant you peace within your family. Pat Richardson

I was indeed fortunate to have know Perky since high school days at Salem High. We continued our friendship as we entered Willamette and became "sisters" when we joined Chi Omega sorority. Her always present smile was one I shall cherish. She has been a good friend over the years and I for one will miss her.

Lee and Family, my deepest condolences to you all during this great transition in your lives. I have fond memories of Perky's passion and enthusiasm for lively conversations and her profound encouragement to share information across disciplines. I never heard her play music, but I am sure she graced many with yet another of her talents. I hope to be able to continue her example of curiosity and vitality throughout my own life and career.

Lee, I was so saddened to learn of Perky's passing. I have such fond memories of her ever-present smile—her obituary picture is the perfect representation! Perky's was the only bona fide science lab I've ever been in—I still remember my one visit there with you! My heart goes out to you, and Laurie and Ellen and their families. May treasured memories of Perky keep your hearts warm and your spirits consoled. God bless you all.

To Lee and family. I"m so sorry for your loss. I always enjoyed coming to your home and visiting. Great humor and such a variety of topics. I will certainly keep all of you in my prayers. Thank you so much for calling. Pat Richardson (Pomeroy, WA)

Perky was an energetic, dynamic force of nature and a faithful servant in
multiple areas. I am grateful that, as editor of the St. Stephen's Sentinel, she urged me to remember our 105-year-old LEM recipient, Beatrice Paget, in an article. You have always been supportive and affirming, Lee. May you receive an extra measure of God's grace. May Perky's soul rest in peace in the eternal embrace of her Creator. Brad Mersereau

Our heartfelt condolences to Lee and family. We will miss Perky very much. The service today was very moving.

Lee and Family, I am sorry to hear of Perky's passing. I have fond memories of my time at St. Stephens with Lee and Perky. Perky's optimism and energy inspired me. She encouraged me and others take our education seriously. Peace and grace to you in this difficult time.

Lee, Joyce and I want to express our sincere condolences to you and the Family. It has been years since we talked but I remember fondly our years together in CSI.
