Not sure what to say?

Sorry to hear of Joan's passing. She was so full of life. The Kipfers, Lymans and Lubers were a large part of my youth and Joan represents the passing of a special generation.

I have so many memories. Joanie was a Godsend when I moved to Rome, recommending a dentist and a doctor. My husband and I stayed with her kids while she and Albert went to a wedding. It was like a mini vacation for us. Jackie had supper ready for us. We swam in the pool, cooked out, watched an eclipse. My husband and Bruce worked to pull porcupine quills out of Penny the Dalmatian´s mouth. We were friends for so many years.

We are so sorry to learn of Joan´s passing. The Kipfers have been friends for a long time. Our prayers are with Jackie, Judy and Karen and their families. We are unable to attend services but send our condolences and thoughts ! Chet and Jan Lippy

Then later on the leatherwork, and the tolerance when I took accordion lessons with Judy. If a family cake needed to be decorated, "Joanie" was called! Was there anything she couldn´t do? I remember her voice that could be heard above all others in a room, the way her and Albert would over take a dance floor and her...

I remember sitting on the Eckbank in the kitchen watching her make pretty roses to decorate her cakes; questioning her about my sewing as she stirred pots for meals or canning on the stove; seeing her in her rocker as I modeled my two-piece bathing suit before we all jumped into the pool! She helped me with my early sewing and knitting projects and taught...

Family, sorry for your loss, REST IN PEACE AUNT JOAN, so many great memories when I was at the farm. Always enjoyed going to the house to get my check because she always gave me more bake goods than I could eat in a week. And her laugh will always be with me. You will always be in my memories.
