Not sure what to say?

Joan was such a character! Always entertaining to be around and had a lot of love for Highlands UMC and the choir. I once put together a piece of furniture for Joan at her house. Oh my goodness - the stories she told! I´m still rolling thinking about it. What a neat lady.

As a fellow musician, I had many opportunities to sing with Joan in the adult choir at Highlands United Methodist Church for a number of years. She was a valued asset to the Choir and truly a lovely lady to know.

Joan was a dear friend and devoted choir member of Highlands Methodist Church. I grew up listening to her sing in the choir with my father, Carl Stapleton. She will be dearly remembered.

So very sorry for your loss! Joan was such a bright spot with such a great sense of humor and a beautiful voice as well.

Joan was a sweet kind lady. A great Sister in Law. She had a wonderful full life. She will be missed.

My thoughts and prayers are with the Koop family. May the memories shared fill your hearts with joy during this time of grief

Joan will be missed by so many people that shared her life. She was always so put together, looking stylish all the time. And Joan loved talking, especially to her friends and loved ones. See you in the choir up yonder!

Steff, Buddy ,Debbie & your families- I have such wonderful memories of your mom. I pray you all are at peace. I know Joan is singing with her beautiful voice in heaven! Love to you all.
