Joan R. Kowalski

Dear Joanie, I also worked with you at St Mary's emergency and you were such a wonderful nurse and friend. your sense of humor always keep us laughing. rest in peace my friend, until we meet again

I met Joan at St. Mary's when I was 16 years old. We worked on the same floor and worked together in ER. Joan was good to me and I always got Christmas cards and gifts from Joan. She was a very giving person. Some times she and another friend and I would go out for a drink after work. We were very close. I took care of her uncle Joe while I was in nursing school. Joan was an excellent nurse and will be greatly missed. RIP Joan.

Joanie........nothing better than traveling and having the car go kerfluey, praying to "Mr. Christopher", using butane curling irons and walking with your left hand out in the winter so when you slipped on the ice and broke an arm, it would be your left one so you could still do needle work. Always loved getting Christmas cards from JARK ....so many memories....Rest well, my friend and my mom sends her love, too.

I worked with Joan in the Emergency Room at St. Mary's Hospital. She was a very dedicate and excellent nurse. She is one of the funniest people I have ever met. Joan taught me a lot about nursing and was a good friend. She will be missed by her friends and family.
