Joan was a friend of mine for many years, and loved my children dearly, as she did all children. I will miss her smile and kind wise words of wisdom. I hope God puts her to work in the Gardens teaching Children because she would like that. Dyann Lepley Carter

Such a beautiful person in every way. It is with great joy that I remember her. She will always have a special place in my heart.

My condolences to the family.

It is quite possible anyone who had her for an American Problems teacher at Hilhi never forgot her. If favorite teacher names was the discussion topic Mrs. Krahmer was often recalled. I saw her last summer at a 50th class reunion and her caring eyes had not changed.

So glad I was able to spend a delightful conversation with her at my 50th Class reunion last summer. There was truly a bond between us. Will miss her very much.
