My Aunt Joan has always been a role model for me - sweet, gracious, and supportive. She always expressed a lively interest in others, and turned strangers into friends in a matter of moments.
As we lived miles apart, the times I got to spend with her were few and far between - but I have treasured memories of shared family meals, walks in the woods, and junkets in her camper.
