Joan and Wayne were our next-door neighbors growing in Vista Hills. Both were delightful people but Joan stood for her kindness to all who knew her. She will be sorely missed.

I just read the obituary for Joan Kuni I am sad I never had the chance to meet her. I am blessed by all the stubborn mothers in every generation that have resisted the negative norms of their day.
