Read MoreJoan was a mentor, colleague and friend for many years at Fallingwater. I respected her passion for all things Fallingwater and her dedication to performing her job day in and day out. She also set the standard for professional dress. I'm grateful that I had the opportunity to work with her for a number of years. I will always remember her and so happy I got to see her at her last visit to Fallingwater. Rest in peace dear Joan.

To Joan's family and friends, Joan was a beloved member of The (Senior) Center for nearly 20 years and as noted in her obituary was especially active with the Silver Steppers tap dancers (while she is a bit in the background of the attached photo, it reminds me of her joy in dancing.
