a real sweet lady rest in peace Joan and may God welcome you with open arms

rest in peace Joan and may you and your brother Richard be welcomed by God

Joan was a very special friend. She was always so caring for people and really interested in all. She was a delight to spend time with. Her manor was always calming. I do miss Joan. She was a blessing.

To all of Joanie's family:
I was so saddened to learn of the death of a dear friend. She was like a mother hen to all of us at the Inn. I relied on her for wise counsel and to share a laugh. Though I always appreciated having her in my life, I find myself selfishly wishing for one last visit with undoubtedly one of the nicest human beings I have ever had the privelege to know.
You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Know how much your mom (nana) cherished each and every one of...

Your mothers smile and kind words will never be forgotten. She has been a part of my family’s life for over 30 years and will be sorely missed at our holiday gatherings and summer picnics. Christmas this year didn’t seem the same without her. I know she is in a better place now and I take comfort in knowing that she touched my life in many ways that shape who I am today. My thoughts are with you all.

Dear Family of Joan:
Thank you for sharing your mother with so many of us. As best as I can remember, your mom became part of my life sometime around 1974 when she and my father, Chuck Smith became friends. She was a big part of our family and shared a lot of memories with us. She came into our life at a time when the influence of a strong loving women was important. Her presence in my life has shaped the way I look at many things including the love for my own home. She visited me...

Marie, Ben and family,

I was so sorry to hear about your Moms passing our deepest sympathy and prayers are with you and your family .

Kids,

Im sure you've heard the song "There are angels among us". That's how I view your mother's life here on earth. She had such a calming presence. NO one who knew her could say they didn't love her. Jesus her saviour took her home on the eve of his birth. always celebrate that date as she was truly blessed. I hope to get to her funeral mass and say to all of you how very lucky you were to have her in your lives. Much peace to all Love, Judi Van Vorse

Dear David and Family,

I'm sorry I wasn't able to attend. Your mom was a great individual with a fantastic smile and a great laugh.

Our great Lord has a better mission now for her to bring to others that smile and laugh to make others happy.

With all my love to each of you,
Debbie
