Not sure what to say?

I was so shocked to hear of Joan's passing. She was such a sweet, caring person. I have been going to see Joan every year to have my taxes done . She would sit with you and carry on a conversation as if you were one of her own relatives. I love to hear of stories she would talk about in general. She will be so greatly missed. For her family , just know that she loved you a lot. You all had a caring and loving mom and grandmother. No one on this earth can ever take that away from you. My...

She will be loved and missed forever, she was the only person I ever knew that took people for what they were and looked over their faults.
Kind, sharing, loving, caring, generous, patient and loving that's what she was. A wonderful comforter, friend, shoulder-to-lean-on, supportive, full of LIFE, vibrant, intelligent woman she was also my Mother. I won't live a day without missing you...Loving you Always, Your Daughter, Julianne THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO TOOK THE TIME TO SIGN-IN IT MEANS...

Joan was my cousin, she was just a delightful person and was really special. She allowed our family to stay with her in her spanish styled apartment-so that my family could visit Rauschkolb-Foss relatives. I must have been 13 at the time 1972-75 and she encouraged me to draw. Her family probably still has a drawing I did of Joan when she was in High school. Today I am an artist and thankful for Joan and her encouragement. She was a giving person that was hospitable, insipirational, and...

Joan, you will truly be missed. We may not have talked in years, but you were a very special person. With love to Julie, Jennifer, Jodie, and Tracy

The loss of someone so close is difficult to bear. We share your grief.

We were so shocked and sad to learn of Joan's passing. Each time we have been down to visit, she always took the time and effort to come to see us and was interested to know what was going on in our lives. You could tell that she loved her family very much. Please know that we are praying for God's peace and comfort during this very sad time.
With much love,

My niece, Joan, was a very precious, loving lady. My heart was really saddened to learn of her sudden passing. I am so sorry that I can not attend her services. Please know that my love is with you all.

Never could anyone ask for a better friend than Joan. Her gifts were goodness, selflessness, and laughter which she gave prodigiously. She loved her family without limit, and friends without expectation. She will be sadly, sadly missed. Ever in our hearts, her love and courage will never be forgotten

What a sweet lady! I'm so sorry for your loss. She and her family are in my prayers.
