Not sure what to say?

Christy and Julie,

Just wanted to let you know that we have thought of you so much since learning of your parent's passing. Joan Latimer was a wonderful counselor and teacher. She taught me English for 2 years at Robious Middle School, and then she was a counselor to my younger sister at Robious and then at James River High School. We loved Joan Latimer. I know that she has impacted many students and families, as she truly cared and tried to make a difference for her students! ...

I'm sorry to learn of this news..a bit late but a bit detached from the area being away at school. I remember her so well she was quite the lady. Very enthusiastic.

What caused this early departure? It saddened me to learn of her death; it seemed way early in my memory. She had such a youthful zest about life. I remember her having as much youth and vigor as us youth back in my school days.

Dear Christy, We were so shocked to hear about your parents and very saddened by this news. After reading all the wonderful things people have said in this guest book, we can see that they were wonderful people. You, Steve, and the kids will be in our prayers and thoughts during this difficult time. When we see you next, there will be some big hugs waiting for you. Love, Greg and Kathryn Jackson

P.B and Joan - the world shined brighter when you were here. You touched so many with your kindness and compassion that your memory will live on in all of us.

So sorry to hear of your loss. Pierce and I worked together at Bowers, Nelms and Fonville. He will always be on my list of All Time Good Guys. Huge help to me in the new homes arena. Always wise with his counsel and even in his temperment. He and your Mom sparked any group they were with. It was a joy to have known them both.

Dear Latimer Family, As a Richmond Realtor, I was so sorry to hear of the loss of your precious Mom and Dad. Pierce was always great to work with. We started in the business about the same time and shared lot's of changes in the real estate business. May God comfort you in this time of loss and sadness and may you be blessed with an abundance of happy memories.

Dear Latimer Family:
My deepest condolences on the passing of your parents.
I worked with Pierce at Prudential in Midlothian, VA. He had a sharp real estate mind. He will always be remembered for his wonderful nature and warm smile.

Christy and Julie,
Our hearts, thoughts and prayers are with you. Joan and Pierce were a wonderful couple to be with and enjoy. Pierce was a personal friend and business partner at Old Mill Realty. His easy smile and good business sense were always present. I will always treasure the memories of the good times we shared together. Be at peace my dear friends.

I was saddened to learn of PB's untimely death. Though unrelated, we shared cousins, Emalyn Vaughn Reed and Sonny Vaughn, and saw each other frequently during our childhood. I always thought he was family.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
