My sister and I were treated by Dr. Lerner and Mrs. Lerner when we were children on 34th Street and Aberdeen in Chicago. Our Grandmother was one of their first patients.

I was so sorry to hear of your loss. My very deepest sympathy to you. I didn't know Joan personally but she was such an integral part of our Michael Reese Nurses' Alumnae Association and she will surely be missed. The luncheons will not be the same without her.
