Not sure what to say?

My Mother just told me about Joan's passing. Like so many, I worked with her at the Chamber of Commerce where she gave me my very first job after college. She was a very gracious lady and I learned a great deal from her.

To all loved ones of Joan Welsch Lifshatz:

Nancy and I met nearly 25 years ago at the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce, and we got married five years later. Bryan worked with Joan for 17 years, and Nancy worked with Joan for 7 remarkable years through the PACE program. If it had not been for Joan, who first interviewed Nancy, we may have never met, and Joan and Si were with us to celebrate our wedding in Cape May in 1991. Joan was a very special friend and mentor to...

Dear Riki and Mitchell,
You know how special your mother was to you and everyone around her. Once a year I always received a birthday card addressed to 'Stunning Highbloom'. She was one of a kind and meant much to our entire family. I wa lucky enough to have dinner with her this past June when my parents visited. Always a smile and a laff. She will be missed terribly. You are not alone in this time of sadness.

Mitchell and Ricky, As you know I loved Joan. She was a shining star whose brightness never dimmed from the moment I met her. She welcomed me to the family with open arms and warmth, and I will miss her.

Dear Ricky & Mitch,

Mom was the most upbeat & positive person whom I had the pleasure of knowing for many years. To know her was to love her. We shared numerous memories, trips & occasions.
She will most definitely be missed.

Ellen

Dear Rikki and Mitchell:

I'm so sad to hear of your mother's passing. I will be unable to attend her services on Sunday, but want you to know the tremendous impact she had on my life. Your mother believed in me and gave me my very first job after college. I learned so much from her. However, the most important lesson she taught me was how to face life's many challenges with dignity. She was truly inspirational as a professional and as a woman.

I worked with Joan at the Greater Phila. Chamber for many years. It was a true learning experience for me to have worked with her. The intelligence, the knowledge - she was a true inspiration to me. She held onto life with such exuberance and lived every day with so much enthusiasm, I am honored to have known her and will miss her dearly. My prayers go out to her family.

Mitchell and Erica, I was sadden to learn of your Mother's pass iing. I have only positive memoires of my times with her. She and Marvin were very helpful to me at a difficult time in my life and for that I was in their debt..

With heartfelt sympathy,
Sheldon Chaiken
