I could not make your mom´s memorial service yesterday, sorry to say. She was such a kind and caring lady. My daughter, Miriam, and I would go to work on her rug a few years back. I would take my young son Daniel with me. He was maybe 8 at the time. He would draw pictures to take to her and she delighted in each one. Once when we left, she said, "Now I am looking forward to my picture next time". So then, that week, he asked me what he should draw for her. I told him that flowers would...

So sorry for your loss! Loved visiting with your mom and dad on the farm when our family would visit Baraboo. After your dad passed, we would still keep in touch with your mother. She was pretty special and made sure that some keepsakes that had belonged to my grandmother, Frances Litscher, were passed down to us. Again, our sympathies! Kim and Steve

Always enjoyed seeing Joan when she "crashed" the Bergen/Bartholomew Devils' Lake outing. She was our mom's best friend. We will miss her company.
