Joan LITTLE

It is with deep sadness, that the families announce the passing of Joan Little in her 78th year of life. Joan was truly blessed and passed peacefully in her sleep to go on to join her husband, and the love of her life, Bob, who had been patiently awaiting her arrival for 37 years. Bob and Joan moved to Nanaimo in 1962 from Prince George and went on to raise their 2 children: Son - Randy, wife Patti; children Brandon and Amanda: Daughter - Julie, husband Rob and step-daughter Samantha.

Joan worked at Edwards Tire Service as a bookkeeper for 26 years, retiring in 2002 and at Harvey Murphy Men's Wear prior to that.

Joan has 4 sisters who have all lost a piece of their hearts as well. Pat Sims (Doug, recently passed), Iris Lacasse (Robert), Judy Brommeland (Ken), Jackie Gagne (Robert).

Our Mom will always be remembered as the feisty "Little" one and will never be forgotten.

There will be no service held at her request and her charity of choice was the B C Children's Hospital.
