Not sure what to say?

dear Ike & family, I hope you will accept the condolences of our distant relationship. Joanie & I were happy to have connected electronically (tho' we did meet in person several years ago) and shared interest in family. From Canada I offer condolences to you, Ike, and your young people, I shall remember her too... sincerely, Joan PL

It is with deep sorrow to discover that Joan has passed. I knew her and Ike through four decades of my life and we raised our children, close in age, during those years alongside one other. Joan was a kind, strong, intelligent, sensitive, and cultured individual. Quite simply, her warmth radiated and her smile drew you into her generous orbit. How lucky I am to have had a small piece of that beautiful energy in my life! My deepest condolences to the Loveridge-Sanbonmatsu family.

Joan was my friend, mentor, and colleague at SUNY Oswego. She was one of the best people I have known-brave and principled. It was an honor to have known her. My condolences.

I was her student. Her influence as a Rhetorical Criticism professor had a significant impact on my life. I have not forgotten her. Thank you Dr. Loveridge-Sanbonmatsu.

On behalf of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Comfort Tyler Chapter (Syracuse), we send our condolences to the family. Forget Me Not Don´t remember me not with sadness, Don´t remember me with tears, Remember all the laughter, We´ve shared throughout the years, Now I am contented, That my life it was worthwhile. Knowing that I passed along the way, I made somebody smile, When you are walking down the street, And you´ve got me on your mind, I´m walking in your...

I am so sorry for your loss. I have good memories and cherish her books on my top shelf. Joan and Ikira inspired me and helped launch my late career in teaching. Along with much gratitude, my condolences.

I am so sorry to read of Joan´s passing. She was lovely person. I´ll miss her semi-annual visits to my bookshop in Poultney.

Joan was a great person I only knew briefly while her an Ike were in East Poultney for their last visit I cared for both of them an learned so much from Joan ! Joan an I kept in touch after we brought them back home to Syracuse... Rest easy my friend ...With Love , Brenda Jones

Sincere condolences to Ike and Joan´s family. You know what great person Joan was. I want you to know that so did those of us who worked with Joan over the years. She could always be counted on to stand up for what was right and to fight for those who needed allies. Safe passage, Joan.
