So sad to see this. We met in 4th grade & were friends from then on. We "doubled dated" at our senior prom with what became first husband's for us both. He & I even visited Joan & Murray at the base in Stuttgart. Before that, we were roommates at what I think was our 10th Wilson reunion. I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I looked up to Joan as a teen. As I did to her amazing brother, the golf champion of Woodmont....at such a young age. I don't like that it's the 'old' neighborhood, that we're all getting older and losing much more than each other in America. Chuck, my heart goes out to you. I only knew Joan as a Clackamas Rotary associate and in her Volunteer association with the Neighborhood Improvement meetings on Saturday AM's but always enjoyed her company and assistance. Allan Widlits

I was so sorry to hear of Joan´s passing. I´ve only known her for the last few years, but she was a wonderful woman. I didn´t know about all of the things in her past and her contributions.
